I have searched everywhere, but found nothing (for example here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/svg-icons/). Where can I find your icons and what is the best way to use them in Generateblocks?
Hi there,
the only icons GP has are the theme icons - such as the Hamburger, Search icon, back to top etc.
That option simply removes the need to load a font and instead use inline SVG.
They're not meant for use in content.
Okay, I understand that. Well, that's great.
But if I want to insert a SVG now, for example in the content area, I currently use the HTML block from Gutenberg and insert the SVG code there. Strangely enough this code disappears after a while. By the way, the icons at the button also (generator blocks). Very strange (and yes I'm sure I put them in, deleted the cache and the site worked fine, but somehow SVGs disappear)
Any chance you can link us to the site in question?
You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.
Let me know :)d
Link is in the hidden field ;)
In the first Button i put a Icon. But i cant see it anymore....
And I notice something else strange: the buttons are shot again in the Gutenberg. That's happened to me before: https://www.screencast.com/t/TRB0orOAA
Hi there,
Is the SVG code missing from the Button Icon field in the Block editor ?
Update: See this topic:

Is the SVG code missing from the Button Icon field in the Block editor ?
Yes.
I've definitely fixed that. There was an arrow to the left. But you can't see any of it anymore.
Frontend looks like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/hH757ggQhbEP
Backend by the way like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/nT7RoLJ5bk
The only reason why the backend warning is displayed is that something has changed in the buttons HTML.
Does this happen when you add a new GB Button ?
Nope. I used the GB Button. Nothing else...
Are you the administrator on the site? If it's multi-site, are you the network admin?
WordPress will only allow SVGs to be saved by the admin/network admin.
More info here: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/fix-svg-icons-not-saving/
Ok thanks will test it.
