His homepage. He shows the 6 last blog posts and after that he uses a seperator. But I only need to know how to get the first task down. The 6 blog posts to appear like his.

You can set the number of posts display in WordPress settings:

Then set it to 3 columns in the customizer:

I think it is not this setting. Because he shows 6 blog posts and there is a seperator for other posts. So for me it looks like he uses a normal static page within that a tool for blog posts and then a seperator for other posts.

You will need a plugin like WP Show Posts to display posts on a static page.
