Hi,
Today I've added some widget(navigation block in the Header) to try something on my website and then after couple of minutes I've deleted it. There are now active widgets in my wordpress admin now. But when i go to the front page of my site that widget is still there and I am not able to remove it cause there is no such a widget in the admin area. It only appears at the front-end. I've purged cache, i've made a backup. And that widget is still there and I am not able to delete. When I delete it with Inspect Element in the browser the widget is gone but not able to delete it from the admin area.
Please help. Here is the site.

Hi there,

can you see the widget if you check for it in the Customizer > Widgets ?

Thanks for your fast reply.
No, the widget is not there.

IT sounds like a caching issue, are you able to disable the litespeed cache at the server level ?

I've disabled it and the problem is fixed. Thank you.
Now should I first run a backup and then enable it again?
Regards

Caching should be unrelated to backup.

I normally suggest that the caching plugins are turned off during the development stage.

Or you just need to remember to clear it every time when you make a change.
