I have installed child theme in my website after which favicon icon is no longer

Hello Sir. I have installed the child theme in my website, after which the favicon icon is not visible in the website, I have updated and changed the icon several times, but the favicon icon is no longer visible in Google's search result. Please help.

Hi there,
Favicon is a WP core feature so this shouldn't be a theme issue.
Can you try #1 here to debug first?

But this problem started since I installed child theme of GeneratePress,
Previously the favicon looked fine when using the parent theme of Generepress, but after installing and activating the child theme the problem started appearing.
Have you tried my suggestion above?
Does the issue disappear when you activate the parent theme?
A default child theme is empty and it doesn't have the ability to cause the issue.
