[Support request] I forgot to install a child theme

Hello!
I created a site with Generatepress and I forgot to install a child theme!:( (I used simple CSS to create my own styles and I also changed the preferences in “Customize”)
How can I solve this now?

If I install the child theme now, will the css styles and customization be retained or will they be deleted?

In this particular case i don’t believe you will lose anything but it doesn’t hurt to always make a backup first.

Keep in mind that you don’t necessarily need a child theme if you are not planning on doing lots of customization.
