Hi,

I am new to generatepress, I would like to know is there any child theme available in generatepress I am asking this cause if any updates will happen to generatepress my website shouldn't revert to the setting?

Child theme isn't a requirement to use GeneratePress.

I didn't understand much English but as far I understood as I am using generatepress I don't need any child theme and I can make whatever modification will not hurt on my website, right?

Yes - customizer options will be saved through updates.

As long as you don't make changes to any of the theme's core files then you will be fine without a child theme.

No Leo, I am not changing directly on the files whatever I make changes I do on additional CSS, is it ok, right?

Yes - the code in Additional CSS will be saved through updates :)
