I am locked out of customize > typography

Hello:
I notice that in customize > Typography, I'm unable to make any modification, this includes adding typography or editing existing ones. I tried to click on the arrow buttons next to the listed font or the items under Typography Manager, but nothing happens.
I'm not sure why it is all locked up. The domain change a month ago may have triggered it I suspect.
My site only has me as the full admin and I never modified settings. But is there are places where authorization settings must be set?
Please let me know what I can do to gain access to this area again. Thank you

Can you disable all plugins and activate the parent theme to test first?
Please update the parent theme to the newly released version as well.
