Huge white gap between hero and page content in non-Mobile view

Aack! Suddenly somehow now there is a huge white vertical gap as described in this title -- except when viewed on a phone device, in which there is the opposite problem... the content is shifted so far upward that some of it is hidden under the hero! I added this morning the CSS you suggested earlier for other issues I posted here, which all seemed to work fine, and otherwise have been only minimally tweaking elsewhere.
What needs to be tweaked to solve this ASAP and get back to normal? (i.e. normal vertical spacing) I've looked around but do not see the solution. Sorry! Thanks again!
Never mind. I solved it. Sorry, I didn't see there was an extra "0" entered in the Container content padding (thus 1000 instead of 100) because the entry field was so narrow.
