https://fonts.gstatic.com/ gives a 4xx status code

Hello Tom,
I wanted to ask you about the https://fonts.gstatic.com/ in the theme. I mean, i guess it's in the theme. I use some advanced SEO tools to monitor issues on my websites. Now i get this message that the https://fonts.gstatic.com/ gives a 4xx status code on 29 different pages. This is the amount of my regular pages and posts combined.
When i check the code of a random page i see this: <link href='https://fonts.gstatic.com'
But when i click on it, it sends to a non-existing page.
Is there someway i can remove that piece of code? I mean, i don't think i need it, right?
Here's a page for example: sitelink
Thanks in advance:)
Hi Karim,
It's a preconnect - same thing can be found in the latest TwentySeventeen theme.
It preconnects to the server where Google Fonts are served from to increase the load speed.
Hey Tom:)
Ok, i get it. So no need to remove it? And won't give issues for SEO?
No, there shouldn't be any issues at all :)

Ai ai captain;)
The logic makes sense. That's why i wanted to ask, just to know why and how:)
I thank you again:)
No problem :)
