HTML in widget title no longer working.

I've been using this - http://www.bitrepository.com/add-html-to-wordpress-widget-title.html on our site but it's no longer working after upgrading to GP v2. Any ideas?
Nothing widget title related changed in 2.0.
Perhaps something like this will help: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/html-in-widget-titles/
