How to make "ever" to form a new line, instead of breaking it with "e" and "ver"?
Thanks.
Hi,
Is there any reason why you're using preformatted block for this?
Preformatted block is designed for displaying code which will change the way text breaks.
Perhaps, you're better served w/ a standard text block. And if incase you need the background-color, you can simply set it on Settings (sidebar) > Colors.
We just want to highlight a text. Can it be achieved with standard text block?

Yes you can definitely do that.
Here's a demo video on how to do it:

Thanks for the guide.
What about using Classic? Is it possible?
You may have to add plugins for the Classic editor to have rich text functionality.
But I can't really pinpoint which one would work w/o issues as these 3rd party plugins are out of GeneratePress' scope of support.
Also, WordPress seems up for obsoleting Classic Editor as it already announced end of support by 2021.
