How to use the new global color?

I found it super complex when styling color in the new global dashboard.
I try to change the base color, the heading color but after fill Hex code, nothing else changes saved. Please help to use it effectively
Hi there,
once you have created a Global Color, you have to assign that color to specific elements eg. Navigation Background etc.
Once those are set, any changes to the Global Color will update the elements it is assigned to.

To be honest, this new global color dashboard is not user-friendly and I hope that GP team will have an official instruction for this.
We will be documenting how to use the global styles. And if you have any feedback on improvements it would be much appreciated.
Setting Global Colors on an existing site may take a little time to set up - but its fairly simple. I made a quick video showing how to edit a global color, assign it to a theme element, and then change the global color to see it update:
