how to use split library

1. I am using a split library. However, if you look at the demo of the split library, you will see an image with the article on the main page. However, the image is not displayed on my main page. Check the URL. The page titled test contains the image and content. Naturally, the image should be displayed on the main page along with the text of the test page. But it is not. I am wondering how to fix it.

2. After using the split library, I wonder how to adjust the number of articles on the main page. I want to print the most recently published article in total 6-8 pages. Answer how you can do it.
