How to use GP Premium on local dev?

As I look to advance my skills in using WordPress, I've setup Local (by Flywheel) so I can practice things. Of course the first thing I do is install the GP theme, i then go to install the Premium plugin but it says I'm not allowed to access it, nor can I put in a license code anywhere. What can I do?
Also as I'm not really sure where else I can ask this question. What do you think are the most important things to learn to advance my skills in developing sites with GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks? I already feel pretty comfortable with HTML/CSS, at least enough to make a lot of the edits I want. I've started learning PHP but am unsure if this time would be better spent within WordPress rather than creating .php files outside of it.

Hi there,
This one's a little bit tricky as this needs some checking in permissions and other settings of your local server installation.
You can skip all that debugging if you want as there's actually a workaround for this.
Since gp-premium is a .zip file, you can just extract it on the wordpress installation files folder on your local server.
You can create a folder /gp-premium on /wp-content/plugins/ folder and extract the contents of gp-premium.zip in it. :)
