How to use google fonts in blockquotes

Hi, I'm trying to edit the fonts for blockquotes using the custom CSS, I can edit the fonts and quotes but not use google fonts. Any tips on how to do this. I've tried using API also but that didn't work
Hi there,
GP will only load a google font if it is selected in one of the Customizer > Typography settings.
Do you have the font selected in the customizer anywhere ?
