How to show UserID in menu for logged in users

Hello

I am a little new to this.

Instead of showing typical "Login|REgister" link on my page, i want it to show USerID of logged in person and LOGOUT option.

How can i do that?

Unfortunately that is not possible without custom development as the icons are part of the navigation menu. The only easy way i can think of is to try this plugin which will allow you to add a Shorcode inside a menu item:

But you may want to rethink that - as there isn't a lot of space between menu items and icons on smaller screens.
