How to show UPDATED ON or UPDATED date for blog post

Dear Sir/Mam,
I have been using Generatpress but am unable to get the updated date option in the theme customizer. Unlike the Kadence theme which has these features in Customiser, it is very easy to modify the updated on / updated date at one click.
Why is this feature missing in generate press?

This is actually a feature when you modify the post meta through GP Premium's Block element - Post meta template.
The dynamic element for date lets you add prefix - https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-post-meta-template/
As for the default post meta of the theme, it is indeed missing from the customizer but we have a CSS+PHP snippet prepared for that which is found here - https://docs.generatepress.com/article/show-the-updated-post-date/
