How to set Featured Image to Full Width?

Hi,
a new client brought in a website with GeneratePress Pro and asked me to set the featured images in post-single view to full width. I have checked inside the post-documents-settings, customizer and also tried applying a Header-Element (Header, All Single, Background Image=Featured Image, Container & Inner Container=Full Width), but nothing seems to work.

Hi there,
Couple of things:
1. the Header Element must contain some content - if you want to only display the image then add this HTML comment to the text field:
<!-- Featured image -->
2. Add some Padding Top and Bottom to give the element some height.
3. Make sure the Display Rules are correct
