I want to set a particular blog post as a home page.

Not to create a static page and a page for blog posts.

Hi there,

its not actually an option that is built into WordPress. If you google WordPress single post as home page then you will find several methods including this one:

https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-make-a-wordpress-post-not-page-your-home-page/

But this not something the Theme can do and is out of our scope.
