how do you remove the spaces between the bottom section immediately above the footer
Hi,
Can you check if the grid block has a horizontal gap? By default, it adds "30px" horizontal gap. You'll have to set it to 0.
This setting can be found when you select the grid block on Gutenberg editor as shown here:
