How to remove featured image from posts?

Is there a way to remove featured images from posts site-wide? I have just purchased the GeneratePress plugin as I thought it had this functionality; it turns out removing featured image from the Blog section does not remove it from the post.

Have you tried clicking on the Posts tab in the featured image section?
