[Support request] How to remove datepublished from showing on serps. Page, not post.

Hi,

I’d like the date published date from not showing up on Google search. This is for a page, not post. I don’t want articles written 10 years ago to be dated. Also, I don’t want the updated date to show either. Just nothing.

I understand the WP Meta and Date Remover plug-in will do this, but I didn’t know if it would conflict with GP, which I’m very happy with.

Pages don’t have published date showing by default, can you check if you have any custom function or plugin which does this?

Thank you for getting back to me Ying.

I have the AIOSEO plug in, but it hasn’t shown this before. I recently installed an Ezoic plugin for advertising placement so perhaps it’s from that.

I guess if Generate Press doesn’t do it by default, it’s coming from somewhere else.

I would suggest to disable all plugins to test, then activate them one at a time to narrow down which one is adding the date.

I want to remove the date from the serps in posts and have to questions:
1. Does generatepress work with WP Meta and Date Remover?
2. Is there any other possibilty to get rid of the date?
