How to remove date being a hyperlink on single post and blog?

Hello,
I've just switched from a different theme to Generate Press. One of the changes I noticed is that the date of a post being published has now become a link (to the same page) on single posts. And it's also a link on archives.
I'm using the latest versions of the theme and GP Premium, and from reading past support queries on this, it seems that the date isn't supposed to be a link?
Is there a way I can remove it?

thats not a default behaviour - any chance you can share a link to the site where i can see the issue ?

I've just solved this one - it was some kind of issue caused by the plugin 'Last Modified Info' - when I saved the settings in there (without changing anything even), the hyperlinks disappeared.
