[Resolved] How to remove author and date on posts with the customizer

Hello,

I want to remove the author and date on the post and have seen on another topic here in the forum that it should be possible via Customizer -> Layout -> Blog. However, there I can’t find the options for that. It only displays the message “This page is using a Page Hero Element. Some of the options below may not apply.” and the dropdown for Content Type with the value “Full Content” and “Excerpt”. Have the options been moved to somewhere else now?

Hi Chrisitan,

It sounds like all the post meta are in the page hero element.

You can find the element in appearance > elements.

Edit it and remove the headline blocks that represent the author and date.

you are right. The option “Disable primary post meta” needs to be set to true in the Page Hero.
