[Resolved] How To Preserve Post Excerpt Formatting?

when i write a new blog post, in the home page it previews the excerpt but it’s clumped up into 1 ugly chunk

the actual post has paragraph breaks.
how do i solve this? thank you

Hi there,

WordPress strips all HTML in excerpts by default.

Two workaround:

– Use the more tag:

– Use the excerpt metabox:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/add-excerpts-to-your-pages-in-wordpress/
