How To Preserve Post Excerpt Formatting?

when i write a new blog post, in the home page it previews the excerpt but it's clumped up into 1 ugly chunk
the actual post has paragraph breaks.
how do i solve this? thank you
Hi there,
WordPress strips all HTML in excerpts by default.
Two workaround:
- Use the more tag:

- Use the excerpt metabox:
