[Resolved] How to populate a grid from a spreadsheet?

Hello,

I suspect this is NOT a question you can answer however I thought it worth asking in case there is some amazing dynamic data like feature I don’t know about. I am not a developer but would like to have a clue about ways to get there before assigning to a developer.

We are publishing a page with a grid with five fields of text per row. We have 1200 rows in a spreadsheet (NOT google sheets which we don’t use for security reasons) to populate it and will be adding more by the hundreds. There has to be some way to do this other than entering by hand. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Pam,

I don’t believe there is a solution for this, unfortunately.

WordPress and Excel are completely two different software/platforms.

Thanks Leo. Off to see what programming we might need to bridge the gap then. I really appreciate knowing I’m not missing something easy

Maybe a table specific plugin would offer this functionality?

Worth some research for sure 🙂
