What we’re trying to do is to enable the Author Archives, but alter them through a Loop Template so that you have a completely different Author Archive Page. Basically, it’s going to be what your static page is.

Is there any other way we can do this so that I can link to the any author bio depending on who the author is on that page? I’d rather not mess around with Yoast

If you want it dynamically, this is the easiest way.

Another way is to create a template file.

The other way, the one you originally planned to do, would need you to create pages for each of your Authors manually. This may be too cumbersome.

    Hi Fernando,

“If you want it dynamically, this is the easiest way.” I don’t think I can do it this way if it means changing Yoast.

How can I do it either of the other two ways that’s going to be the easiest. I just want the author name for the post/page to go to that author’s newly created bio page.

I think I almost had it cracked when I pulled the info from Biographical Info section. I just couldn’t change the typography of that text to blend in!

    Hi there,

    see here:

If you add a GB Headline block, and use the Author Meta, and a meta field name of: user_url for either the content or link, then it will grab the Website field from the authors user profile.

Or instead of user_url you can use description

As it will be in a headline block you can set its styles however you want.
