Hello,
How I can place link of Read More more on the bottom like it happens on the links bellow? I am trying to do so, on my element content template design.
Thanks!
Sara
Hi there,
Any chance you can link us to the your site in question?
You can use the private information field:

Let me know :)
Hello Leo,
Yes once again my bad, I just placed bellow, want to place Read More link like on those sites bellow
You would need to turn off Use theme more link in the Dynamic Content block:
https://www.screencast.com/t/Q3cYIwxAW
Then create your own read more link using a GB buttons block:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-data/#single-post
Hello Leo,
Yes it seems this is the right way to do it, thank you for teaching me this.
Just having a problem, bellow template I created GenerateBlocks button, but when I put on button to be Dynamic Options and on "Dynamic text type: Post Meta" and on "Dynamic link type: Single Post" and I update button element then go to blog listing and item disapears does not show, I really don't understand what is going on. I am placing url bellow of blog listing where it should show:
Hi there,
Selecting this option Dynamic text type: Post Meta would mean you're wanting the label to be populated by a specific Post Meta ( Custom Field ), and if none is specified or the field is empty then the button won't be displayed.
So don't select a Dynamic Text Type. Just set the Dynamic Link.
And then in the Button element itself, type in your label eg. Read More.
Hello David,
I just did that and button is now showing and I set Dynamic Link Type to "Single Post" as you mention but, for some reason all posts link to last post, how I can fix this?
Thanks!
Could you provide me with a temporary admin login so i can see whats going on ?
Sure, details are bellow, thanks david!
So i went to edit the Element, and the Buttons Block is throwing an error.
Which means theres something most likely in the Button Label it doesn't like.
Can you delete the Buttons Block ( make sure to select the Buttons Container not the individual button ).
Then try re-adding it. First change the Button text to "Read More" or whatever you want, and then add the Dynamic Link to Single Post.
Hello David,
I just did what you say and it seems to correct issue, can you please try on your side just to be sure.
Thanks!
That fixed it :) Looks great!
Thanks David! :)
