Hi,
when I purchased the theme, it was a button on my homepage on the featured image. I messed things up, then the button has disappeared. I have tried to put it back with the page hero. I tried to copy the html code of a button as a content, but nothing happened.
Thanks
Ben

Hi there,

Any chance you can link us to the site in question?

You can use the private information field.

Let me know :)

Hi Leo

I have the generate press site "PEAK"
I would like to get back the "call to action" button on my featured image.
Thanks

Hi Ben,

Your current layout is different from the original Peak site, it's not very easy to add a button on the featured image.

I would recommend updating to GPP 2.0 and trying the new block element to create a page hero, here's demo video:

Note: you'll need to install Generateblocks in order to use the feature.

Thank you.
I have updated my site.
I could not get the picture with the button using page hero to the homepage. Instead I disabled the featured image and simply made a container with a background image, in that way I could add any kind of block in front of the image.
It looks good on desktop PC, but I could not see the button on my phone or tablet.
Thanks

Do you know why the button does not show on mobile?

Thanks

Ben

I'm not seeing any button, it still shows the featured image there.

Can you make sure the element is activated and cache is purged?

Thanks!

Hi Ying.
Problem solved.
The day after I opened the page and the button was visible on tablet and on phone as well.
I just simply disabled the featured image, and used a container with a background image, so I could add a button into the container without problem.

Thank you!

Nice!
I checked your site, it looks great :)
