How to not generate featured image in a specific taxonomy

Hi there
In my website, I created another taxonomy named "Post Type" (besides default ones as Category & Tag)
And I want my website not to generate the featured image of the post when my post falls into the "Post Type"
I don't want to hide it by using CSS and just want the website not generate it
Can you help me, please
