How To Make the Site Logo & Responsive Menu Side By Side On Mobile View
3 replies · Started by Caroline on August 11, 2017
Hello,
Currently on mobile responsive view the Site Logo spans the entire area and the mobile hamburger navigation is placed underneath.
I would like them to be side by side so I can conserve space. Please advise how I can do this?
I found this related article
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/mobile-menu-right-and-logo-left/
However I placed the CSS under customize >> CSS but it didn't work.
Am I using the wrong CSS I am currently using the gp premium 1.4.2
Thanks in advance.
Hi there,
Have you tried the mobile header feature? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/mobile-header/
It puts the mobile toggle inline with the mobile header logo.
Let me know if this solution works for you :)
Wow thanks so much. This worked well. One other thing. The site logo is soooo tiny. I uploaded a bigger size it still is too small. Is there any way I can change the CSS to allow it more horizontal room.
Yeah mobile header is meant for a smaller icon. Something square-ish would work the best.
If you don't have one that can be used, can you link me to the page and I'll see if I can come up with some CSS?
