How to make the blog content wider starting from left edge

Hi, I loved generate press and purchased the premium plugin. But when I install the site library themes, I noticed that the homepage looks good but all the themes has made the blog appear in center. So, it's showing a space in the left though I only use right side bar.

I want the blog main content to be wider starting from left edge. No matter what I do in the Layout options, am not able to fix this.

Now, even when I reverted to the free version, it's showing the space in the left side right from the homepage.
I am not using premium themes because I always love the blog content to be wider.

Please help me fix this.

I have explained in the image below.

Hi there,

each site has various setups that define the content width.
If you have a site you want me to look at please provide a link to it so i can advise on the changes to be made.

Hello David, Thanks for your time and response. Appreciate it.

Here's the free theme of Generatepress which I like as the single blog post has good width...starts from left edge and I also have used a right side bar.

And, here's an example of premium theme.

I used other themes but only this one is not so bad. I am Okay with this. But some themes in premium has the content area centered and does not start from left edge of the site. I am wondering why there's space on the left side when I only need right side bar.

Guide me if there's a way to make the content area wide in single blog post as below

You can change the Customizer > Layout > Container >> Width to increase the amount of space the page occupies in the browser viewport.
And you can change the Customizer > Layout > Sidebar >> % width to adjust how much space of the page it occupies.

Thank You David!

You're welcome
