Hi all, I am using the Search premium template. I noticed that all posts I have created have been allocated the one author box that comes with the theme. I am wondering how to duplicate multiple author boxes and assign it to multiple authors on the site. At the moment, all the blog posts have the single author box, even though they are written by different author profiles. Thanks in advance for any help https://imgur.com/a/B6SQp2U

Hi lewis,

We can make it dynamically show author info, here's a video on how to create dynamic author box:

Try follow the steps:
1. Go to appearance > elements > author bio, click on the Headline block(About the author ), click the dynamic option (database icon), select Post author name:

2. Add a dynamic content block with GP logo, select author description:

3. For the social icons, you'll need to have a SEO plugin to make them dynamic, please check the video for more info :)

Great, thanks for that Ying. Say for example I have 5 author profiles on the site, how do I assign the author box to that given author?

If the author box is set to dynamic, you won't need to assign it to specific author posts, it will show the author info of that post automatically :)

Great, thanks for that, the author bio updates automatically now. However, how do I do the same for the image? That single author image from the theme is being propagated across all profiles?

Hi GP,

The video instructions how to setup an author box are fantastic!
How can I ensure that multiple authors of the same article are displayed?

Regards,
Stefan
