How to hide primary navigation menu ( and other elements )

Hi, I can see that there is a post for this and there used to be a way to do this but I cannot see any way to hide elements on a page. I have premium and the disable elements plugin installed and activated. Any thoughts?

in them post editor - you should see the Layout panel:

Is that not there?
If it isn't check at the very bottom of the Post Editor, under the writing area, as it may have got dragged out of the sidebar.
