How to have more than 5 footer widgets

Just wondering how I would go about having more than 5 footer widgets if that is possible? Thanks

Currently 5 widgets are available.
As for additional widget, I think Tom's last reply in this post might help: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/vertical-footer-widgets-instead-of-horizontal/
Thanks Bishop, looks a bit complicated though. I'll just live with 5 widgets!
