How to handle featured image sizes

Hi,
I'm migrating a WordPress site to use GeneratePress and I'm not sure how to handle featured image sizes. I see the old theme creates a lot of image sizes. When I activate the GP child I'll be using, the images show in various sizes, in archive, single and also in WP Show Posts.
How should this issue be handle? I want to have a standard size for showing featured images.
Thanks.
Alvaro
Hi there,
For the main blog page, this should help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adjusting-the-featured-images/
For single posts, one thing you can try for now is to use WordPress media and crop/scale them to the desired size: https://codex.wordpress.org/Edit_Media
Hi,
I am going through a similar process like Alvaro. I use a static page as a homepage. Does this mean that I am not able to adjust the featured image for single posts? This is quite bizarre. As I have quite a few posts with images it would be quite time consuming to change the size of original image one by one.
Is there no other solution?

Thank you for your tips!
