How to edit smartphone and tablet versions?

Hi,

How do I edit the smartphone and tablet versions of my site ? I know how to preview the site in these formats, but not how to edit them. Apparantly the site needs to be edited separately in these differents modes, or what ?

When I test the site in Google Search Console I get a lot of mobile viewing errors: Fonts to small, elements too close etc.

And since Google are ranking on Mobile First, that's a problem.

My site is this https://onlinemarketingbureauet.dk

Hi,
Thanks.

When I try this it changes the fontsize on desktop too.

Do I have to edit every single block, for a desktop and a mobile version, on the site manually ?

Thanks,

Anyway.. I have this problem even when I update a block separately. I make a mobileversion edit, and it makes the same change in the desktopversion.

Me pasa exactamente lo mismo. ¿Has encontrado solución?

It happens exactly the same. Have you found a solution?

No

Which one is this? Is this from any GenerateBlocks' Block? Are you using an updated version of GenerateBlocks? Let us know.

Yes. It's from GenerateBlocks Pro. Its an updated version.

Hi there,

I ran a Mobile Friendly Test on your site:

https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?utm_source=gws&utm_medium=onebox&utm_campaign=suit&id=n-KWkQnSFG0r2U7Myc_i5w

It did pass the test, but not without issues which you can see on the Details tab - there are several resources reporting the Other error. Linking this to the errors you're seeing in the Google Console - you will find this document of interest as it provides some info on why you may be receiving those errors:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/text-too-small-to-read-and-clickable-elements-too-close-together/

Overall - its generally never a case that 'Text is too small' or 'Clickable Elements are too close together' - they are definitely not issues within the theme itself.

In regards to makine Mobile / Tablet responsive edits in the Block Editor.
Core Blocks such as Text Blocks, Image Blocks, Heading Blocks DO NOT have mobile responsive controls

GenerateBlocks do - so this applies to the Container, Grid, Headline and Buttons Block. Whenever one of those blocks are selected, in the setting sidebar you will see the three tabs for Desktop / Tablet and Mobile - each of which will automatically change the preview size and provide the responsive options.

Thanks. I will look into that

You're welcome
