Hi,

I recently installed GP for the first time and I'm working my way through the docs. It's mostly pretty intuitive, thanks for a good theme.
I started by installing your "dev" site library and there is some content above the footer that I can't figure out how to edit.

It's this section here:
https://snipboard.io/uc8PKB.jpg

This is my site:
https://fscl.anyware.co.nz/

From the style I can see in the inspector, it looks like the content is create from generate blocks but all I see in the GenerateBlocks menu is links to the docs. I can't find it in any widgets or on a page.
Where can I edit this content?

Thanks,
Phil

Hi there,

the Dev site is using a Block Element to display a custom footer.
More info on Block Elements here:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/

To edit the one on Dev - go to Appearance > Elements and edit the Site Footer element.

To note - when you're logged in and viewing a page, you can see and jump straight to any Elements being used on the page, from the Admin Bar > Elements menu.

Thanks Dave.
That all makes sense now. Nice and intuitive once you find it!

Thats great - and thanks for the feedback !
