How to display the latest post on Seacrh theme

Hello guys

I'm Sorry, just cannot find the answer to this one, please someone help

How do I display the 2 ‘latest posts’ at bottom of home page/front page on search model

Know I can use a plugin but thought Generatepress probably has this feature covered and I am just missing it.
