Cyrielle
Hi everyone,
I am creating a food blog with recipes that I filter with WP Grid Builder facets. It’s a local website for the moment.
On desktop, I added all of the facets on the left sidebar of the blog post using shortcodes. It works fine.
But on mobile I would like to present them on a slideout panel, only on my archive recipes page (it’s the blog page since my recipes are shortcodes in articles).I searched everywhere before writing this post. I’m sure I’m missing something or maybe not searching with the right terms…
So I really don’t know if you’ll be able to help me or if this requires custom development or another premium plugin, really sorry for opening this topic if this is the case, but I have the feeling that I may be missing something with the hooks or the Off-canvas option.
What I’ve tried so far:
a. Adding my facets into the Off-canvas widget, it looks great, but the Off-canvas panel then shows-up on every page.
b. Creating a Bloc Element located only on blog page, with ‘menu_bar_items’ hook name, after having activated the Off-canvas option.
This creates an access to the Off-canvas panel on blog page, but then I have two hamburger menus, both opening the Off-canvas panel: one named after my mobile menu, and the Bloc Element one.So my questions are:
1) Is there some kind of way to display the Off-canvas menu only on chosen pages?
2) In the meantime, is it possible to have one Off-canvas menu (with content from the widget area) and one different mobile menu (with navigation)?Thank you so much in advance for any help or ideas!

Hi Cyrielle,
1. There isn’t such a feature in GP.
2. What you can do is activate the Secondary Menu. Then, activate the Off canvas menu on mobile as well. Then, we can use custom CSS to hide the Secondary Menu on desktop, and make the off canvas menu button appear only on your Blog Page.
Otherwise, you’ll need a third-party plugin for this.
Let us know what you prefer.

Hi Fernando,
Thank you for your answer but in the meantime I found FacetWP and it’s perfect for my need (they have a “Mobile flyout” addon) so I went with them.
Have a good day.
