How to define the product to be displayed in UPSELL?

I searched the documentation but I didn't find these instructions.
In the single product settings, there are 2 options "View related products" and "View upsell products"
I noticed that the related products are displayed on the product page, but no upsell products are displayed.
If I disable or enable the "View upsell products" option, nothing happens.
Anyway:
* How do I get upsell products to be displayed?
* How do I define which products will be displayed?
* Can I assign upsell products or even upsell product categories to specific products?
It is not clear how this works.

I discovered,
What happened was that in GeneratePress the term "UpSell" was in English, and on the product edit screen it was in Portuguese "Aumente suas vendas" next to "Cross selling".
Just add the product in the "Aumente suas vendas" field and it will appear.
But here's the tip, maybe a little instruction, saying where adding "Upsell" products would help.
