How do I create an archive page for posts (that provides list of all the post articles?)

Hi there,

create a new Page, give it a title but do not add any content, then publish it.

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading and set this new page as your Posts page

Its just a simple format I want to achieve.

Date Topic of the Post

And maybe a search box at the top.

Please guide on how I can do this.
