[Support request] How to create a sidebar navigation menu?

Hello,

I am setting up my website. And I want to create a sidebar navigation menu for my product categories. But there isn’t such Menu or I can’t find such function from the Theme that I bought from GP. There are only 3 kinds of Menu that I can use (Primary Menu, Secondary Menu and Off-Canvas Menu). Could you pls give me some solutions or any ideas?

HI there,

2 Methods:

1. Select either the Primary Navigation or Secondary Navigation in Customizer > Layout and set its Location to Sidebar.
2. Add a Navigation Menu Widget to the sidebar.

Thanks for your quick answer.
Where can I add a Navigation Menu Widget to the sidebar? When I choose the Right or Left Sidebar Templete, I can’t add any things on the sidebar, the area of Sidebar is unworkable.

In Customizer > Widgets > Right Sidebar, is where you can select the Nav Menu Widget.

I did it as per your instruction, but when I select the Nav Menu Widget ,nothing works. I can’t see any sidebar menu in my page.

Hi Hua,

Did you assign a menu on the navigation widget after placing it on the sidebar widget area?

can you link us to a sample page w/ a sidebar on the site you’re working on to check?
