[Resolved] How to create a shop with GP Premium Elementor and woo commerce ?

Hi Tom,

I am confused. I don’t know how to build my online shop!

Should I build it with the Customiser and Generatepress premium theme to build the pages and the products?

Or: build the shop with Elementor Pro ? and build the pages and the products?

Or: Build it with the Woo-Commerce plugin ? I have created already the 4 pages that WC creates for the shop: product page, store, account, cart.

But now I cannot edit the shop page with Elementor Pro! WHY NOT? (it has many WC widgets)

I can’t find real information or tutorials on how to do this. Can you please educate me. I need to get the shop done now – I cannot wait.

I asked Elementor – here is there answer: At this point, Elementor isn’t capable of editing Woocommerce pages – product page, store, checkout, cart etc.
This is something we are planning to add in future versions.These widgets are there so you can insert Woocommerce elements into your Elementor pages,
but it doesn’t let you change the initial layout of Woocommerce.

How does the Generatepress Premium woocommerce integration really work???

Should I create the pages with GP Premium?

How do I have to create pages with elementor and insert WC elements – I don’t understand.

Please HELP and send me documentation / tutorial / anything.

Hi there,

I would first install and set up WooCommerce.

Then you can add your products etc..

Then you can use the WooCommerce add-on to design your shop a bit to match the rest of your website.

Keeping things simple to start is important with something as complex as a store I think 🙂

Yes, WooCommerce should be used to add/display/sell your products.

GP can be used to change the layout and colors of your WC shop.

You can use Elementor Pro Widgets if you like, but it’s not required.
