How to create a modal login?

GP doesn't have any built in modal login.

As I mentioned above you will need to find a plugin to do that.

Unfortunately GP does not have a plugin as Genesis has

However, you could achieve it using two plugins:

https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/popup-builder/

With 'Popup Builder' you can create a link that triggers a modal with the 'Login With Ajax' shortcode. You can get an acceptable design just doing changes on the set up of both plugins plus some CSS help.
