How to change the Author from Admin?

I already add a new user name, but the new user name still don't show up on my post edit sidebar. So the post author is still my admin name. How to change this situation.Thank you

The user capabilities is a core function so the theme doesn't have any control over it:

I would say make sure that the user has Author or Editor capability as suggested in the link above.
