For example:
If you hover over my name in one of my articles, you’ll see a link like this:
test.com/author/test@gmail.com
How do I change the text after /author/. I’d like the end result to look like this:
test.com/author/myname

That is handled by WordPress itself:

test.com/author/test@gmail.com
I think you’d have to resave the permalink settings:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/settings-permalinks-screen/This is handled by WordPress again.
If this doesn’t work then please check with WordPress’ support.
I tried saving, but nothing.
How could I remove the link from both Author and Date?
You’d need to check with the hosting support for the permalink question, unfortunately.
