[Resolved] How to change apostrophe direction

Hi There,
GP adds apostropthe like this one in the bracket (,)
For RTL languages it should be like this one in the bracket (،)
How can I change its direction or how can I change , to ،

Hi there,

I’m not sure what you mean. GP itself doesn’t decide which apostrophe to use – that should be decided by the type of font/language you choose.

Thanks Tom, I see it is fonts problem. There are some Arabic google fonts which are not integrated in GP. Will you integrate them in next version please? Some of them which are better than others are: Cairo, El Messiri, Noto Naskh Arabic, Noto kufi Arabic and Noto Nastaliq Urdu. There is just one font in GP (Amiri) for arabic languages and it does not look good.

You can add any Google font to the list you like with a function: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/customizing-the-google-font-list/#adding-your-google-font-to-the-list
