How to build a navigation over the page hero area?

Hi there,
i started with GP 3.0 and GPP and struggle to figure out how to have my navigation over the page hero area.
For example like the "Ethos" and "Java" Site here:

I assume that the primary navigation background is set to transparent, but how do i position the page hero part below? Is this something I can find in the customizer section?

Hi there,
you can use a Header Element to create that layout:

On the Site Header tab in the Element you have the option to Merge with Content. With that enabled you can then check Navigation Colors and set to transparent
