I am using the Elements to have a custom post meta on my blog. Check this https://prnt.sc/25r3p7l I am using the Updated date instead of the published date but the date is not showing on the new post until I update post on next day. See this https://prnt.sc/25r3vh3

Can you help me with that?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Ravi,

1. Can you link us to the page where we can see the grid?

2. Choosepublished dateas date type, enable the replace with updated dateoption:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n4emolle

I have done the first one myself that's why removed it.

2 thanks it worked...

It is working but not on mobile view, the name and date are showing in two lines... See this: https://ibb.co/jDQy2Bt

How can I make it something like:

Author Name Updated On: Comments
XXX ZZZZ Jan 03, 2022 00

Can we do this?

Hi there,

to keep all the meta in one line on small screens would mean reducing the padding and font-sizes for each of those blocks. You can adjust them specifically for mobile by selecting the mobile tab in the blocks sidebar settings.

Yes, but I want to add them in two lines like:

Author Name:
MR XYZ

Something like this, I will do the font and padding adjustment but can you please guide me on how to achieve this.

You need to add separate blocks for 1. Static content and 2. dyanamic.

So for your author you would add:

1. Headline block static content with just: Author Name.
2. Headline block below #1 with dynamic content for the authors name.

Okay, I got it, thanks for sharing it.

How can I add the category next to the post date? I am creating the post meta through Elements, I do not want to show the comments counts. I tried adding post meta but it did not work, can you guide me a bit?

It is done! Thanks for your help. I am marking it as done!

Glad to hear that!
